Pick Random User plugin

The Pick Random User plugin helps moderators select a participant at random—great for icebreakers, Q&A, or quick polls.

How it works​

  1. A moderator opens the plugin.
  2. A modal shows up and the plugin randomly selects one user from the current participant list.
  3. The selected user is highlighted/displayed to everyone (or just the moderator, depending on implementation).

Notes​

  • Intended for moderators; viewers typically can’t trigger it.
  • Selection pool includes all present users (viewers and, optionally, moderators).
  • Works well alongside features like Raise Hand and Breakout Rooms.
