Generic Link Share plugin

The Generic Link Share plugin lets a presenter/moderator open any URL for everyone in the meeting.
If the site allows embedding, the page appears inside an iFrame for participants—perfect for videos, docs, or web apps.

How it works​

  1. Presenter clicks Link Share.
  2. Paste a URL (e.g., YouTube, a public doc, a web page).
  3. Participants see the page embedded in the meeting UI (no screen share needed).

Notes​

  • The target site must allow iFrame embedding (no restrictive X-Frame-Options/CSP).
  • View is live for all participants and updates when the presenter changes the link.
  • Content shown via iFrame is typically not part of recordings (depends on your server setup).
  • Use public, HTTPS links for best compatibility.

Tip: If a site blocks iFrames, consider sharing a different host (e.g., a public preview link) or switch to Screen Share for that content.
